About
The Academy of Information Technology at Lincoln High School is a two year program designed to introduce high school students to the ever-expanding digital workplace and to the many andhighly varied career opportunities it offers.
The Academy of Information Technology equips students with the personal, analytical, technical and communications skills they need to thrive in IT as well as the skills and experiencesneeded to function in todayís world- whether in higher-education, professionalcareers or every-day life.
Students at Lincoln spend their junior year studying the Principles of Information Technology and Computer Applications. Between their Junior and senior year, students work as paidinterns at firms specializing in IT as well as at IT departments in various corporationsand industries.

The web design project was a special project during the beginning of the year to teach the students intoductory HTML and CSS skills. Their knowledge was applied to create a custom web page about themselves.
