About

This class includes: the basics of Web page design, focusing on learning about and writing in HTML and increasing Web page performance. Additional topics include determining appropriate image formats and working with plug-ins. You will learn a variety of software products including Photo Shop, Flash, Dreamweaver and the remainder of the Adobe CS3 suite. This class will focus on obtaining web skills and applying them to the maintenance and expansion of www.lincolnhigh.net.

One of the overall expectations of this course is to provide students with the skills necessary to create useable and professional looking web sites. By beginning with basic questions of design and usability we create a strong foundation that students can work with and grow from. We will also focus on gaining skills in the Adobe products; skills that can translate into use in a variety of careers.
